  • Moort Care

Moort Care Inc was established in 2018 to help seniors and families who needed assistance with food, hygiene packs and blankets.

The term "Moort" is derived from the local West Australian native Noongar language meaning “Family”. It imbues the fundamental value of which the charity was founded.

The founders Bev Lowe OAM and John Lowe OAM (former founders of Manna Inc) saw the need to help people in the community who were struggling to put food on the table and to keep themselves warm in winter.
